Dr. Satoru Kobayashi
Principal Investigator (Assistant Professor)
Koba received his Ph.D. from the United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Iwate University (UGAS), Japan and has expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Physiology. He has dedicated over ten years of his academic career to the basic research of cardiovascular diseases. The objective of his research is to develop new therapeutic strategies to prevent and/or cure any heart disease.
Dr. Yuan Huang
Senior Research Associate & Cell Culture Core Facility Manager
Yuan serves as a Senior Research Associate and manages the Cell Culture Core Facility at NYITCOM. She is a highly experienced veteran possessing exceptional expertise in cell culture, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and viral preparation technologies.

Lab Manager for Koba Lab, overseeing daily operations, administration, and support.
